DECATUR, Texas Jorge Lopez notched two goals for the Wichita Falls High School Coyotes in a 6-0 District 9-4A win over Decatur Friday night.

Teammates Fabian Serna, Diego Saldana, Carlos Hernandez and Kevin Gonzalez all recorded goals as well.

“We had a goal to get up on Decatur early, and we scored within the first three minutes,” WFHS coach Sam Reed said. “It gave us momentum, and we were still able to create chances in the second half.”

The Coyotes outshot Decatur 17-3, and took a 4-0 lead at the half.

Old High improves to 7-1 in district play with a 13-6-2 overall mark.
